Information for Bars & Pubs

For bars and pubs, the awards offer an excellent opportunity to show off your hard work and achieve industry recognition as being among the best of the best. Plus this is a very special year, because it’s our 25th anniversary.

The ten bars that receive the most nominations will be whittled down to four by our mystery shoppers and all four of the finalists will receive two complimentary tickets to the esteemed awards show held at the Hilton hotel in Glasgow later in 2020 (date TBA). There will be a three-course meal served to all who attend.

To be in for a chance all you need to do is tell your customers to vote for you! Whether you personally tell your customers about the awards or post about them on your social media, your customers need to be voting for you if you want to be in with a chance as only the ten bars with the most nominations will go on to the mystery shopper stage.

Furthermore, all of the winners from the individual bar and pub categories will automatically be put forward for the most prestigious award: The Sunday Mail Pub of the Year Award. This award celebrates the best of the best, rewarding quality and achievement across the board making this award the ultimate accolade for any bar or pub.

As mentioned, nominees will receive two complimentary tickets for the awards. However, if you don’t get a nomination this year but wish to attend the awards or simply require a few extra tickets, contact Cheryl: cheryl@mediaworldltd.com. Tickets are priced at £120 and tables of ten are available for £1200 including VAT.
